Most of the posts on this blog are about our son, Jacob. Mainly because he is much more interesting than Max and me. This blog is also being made into a book of memories for our family. Enjoy this peek into our lives!

Lots of Lemons
It had been raining for weeks and when there was finely a small break in the rain I decided it was time to pick some lemons at the Bishop's house. The little two-year-old that I have been babysitting and I picked up Jacob from the bus stop and headed over. It was muddy and cold but it sure was fun. The bishop's wife and I ended up picking five bags of lemons, three of which she insisted I take. Oh my!! A few days ago Jacob and I decided to wash all the lovely lemons and when all was done we had a very wet, soapy kitchen. That is what I get for leaving a five-year-old to play in the sink while I rest my back. Now we have many luscious lemons to juice. I will be making strawberry lemonade concentrate, cleaner out of lemon oil, and freezing ice cubes for later use.
