A few weeks ago a friend of ours came over to borrow some eggs. We didn't know he would bring his 5 year old daughter with him. I answered the door and Jacob came running up. Kaitlyn was mortified to see her friend wearing only his underwear. Her face was classic and later that night when her mom asked her about it she exclaimed, "I did NOT want to see his underwear!!" Of course Jacob was oblivious to this embarrassment but quickly got his clothes on so he could run around outside with her.
Today Jacob and I filled a bird feeder that he made at playschool with birdseed and decided to hang it on the tree outside. He was watching as I reached high to hang it from a broken branch. My skirt decided to be lazy and slid off my hips and onto the ground. Embarrassed, I quickly put my skirt back on. Meanwhile, Jacob covered his mouth, wrinkled his nose, began laughing, and called for his dad to come out. For 37 years I managed to avoid this kind of event and today my luck ended. Although, if anyone was looking out their window at the time exclaiming, "I did NOT want to see her underwear!!", I can at least take solace in the fact that no one was driving by or walking their dog :)
